To verify that OSPF MD5 authentication is enabled, use the show ip ospf interface privileged EXEC mode command. By verifying that the routing table is complete successful authentication can be confirmed.

Figure 1 verifies the OSPF MD5 authentication on R1. Notice how the ISO filter can be used to verify all OSPF-enabled interfaces.

Figure 2 confirms that the authentication is successful.
